A series of five books on collective human consciousness is under development as promised, with the aim of offering creative solutions to humanity’s pressing dilemmas.
The first four books in the series can be acquired thru Amazon, where you can access a print copy. If you should need the books in a different format, kindly send us an e-mail.
Our premise is that our collective values and thoughts determine our collective behaviors, and that in turn, our collective behaviors impact our ecologies and environments for better, or for worse.
The hope is that paths will be discovered and utilized to the effect of helping us reclaim the beauty and well-being of our awesome planet Earth, and save ourselves in the process.
All of us enjoy life here on this planet, and presently humanity is at risk of losing that existence. The signs of imminent environmental collapse are all around us.
Below are synopses of the books currently available.
Our 1st book, Edges of Consciousness, explores (1) paranormal phenomena such as psychokinesis, telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation, clairvoyance, precognition, out-of-body experiences, ghosts, and reincarnation, (2) the possibility that there is far more to us than we consciously realize, and (3) that our hidden gifts may be helpful in pursuing our goal of saving our planet Earth from humanity's misguided adventures. This book does not attempt to persuade through argumentation, but rather through a comprehensive review of what is known today about paranormal phenomena, especially through the eyes of rigorous and objective scientific researchers.
Paranormal research is very much an ongoing activity, and there is much happening today that most of us are not aware of. This book should bring us relatively up-to-date on current research activity, and the interesting possibilities that become evident from that research. Most of this is happening at the outer edges of our everyday normal, or conventional, mundane collective consciousness.
Over the ages, our transcendent abilities have been generally disparaged by conventional thinking. Consequently, these transcendent abilities are still mysterious to most of us, and are broadly dismissed as belonging to the realm of the mystical, the paranormal, or the occult. In our exploration, we discover that we happen to possess five distinct and fascinating transcendent abilities. These five transcendent abilities may offer meaningful help as we struggle to cope with the alarming challenges facing us here on our planet Earth.
Our 2nd book, Expressions of Consciousness, explores conventional thinking around the globe. Conventional thinking ‟per se” is investigated by examining a sample of today’s major conventional thinkings ~ in alphabetic order ~ Buddhism, Capitalism, Christianity, Communism, Confucianism, Daoism, Hinduism, Individualism, Islamism, Judaism, and Science.
We submit these selected samples to a common analytic grid, with an eye to our goal of quickly turning our planetary situation around. In our ordered evaluation of the samples, we only question to what degree the various conventional thinkings examined could contribute to our quest for a fast, relative utopia. No other valuation is assigned to any of the samples.
We explore, a bit more thoroughly, the nature of conventional thinking, including its genesis and its dynamic effect on inter-generational human thought, together with its importance to our purpose. We also note that, given the nature of conventional thinking, modifying it in any way can be an arduous undertaking ~ and that any successful attempt at modification will usually be characterized by a very determined original thinker hand-in-hand with some very good luck.
Our 3rd book, Currents of Consciousness, explores the historical underpinnings of collective human thinking around the globe ~ that is ~ the chronological development of the major variations of culturally sanctioned social thinking over the ages. We sweep from paleo history to current global social cultures, focusing on the ever-changing flow of collective human consciousness over the ages, and taking us from prehistoric times to and thru ancient times, then to and thru medieval times, and finally landing us into today’s modernity.
In order to keep us productively focused on the here and now flowing into our various possible tomorrows, we focused on the deep roots of the major conventional thinkings that exist today, such as today’s dominant global religions, certain secular developments in Western Europe, and today’s widespread Modernism. We ignore historic conventional thinkings that are extinct. That keeps us productively focused on the here-and-now flowing into our various possible tomorrows.
Of the three new schools of thought that arose in Western Europe, we find that one of them happens to be the most inimical and obstructive to our goal of refreshing planet Earth. The ism known as individualism will be far more challenging than the isms known as capitalism and science. It is entrenched in both human physiology and human culture, where it is either unmovable, or difficult to move, and has been recently fanned throughout today’s collective human consciousness.
Our 4th book, Eddies of Consciousness, continues the exploration of collective human consciousness. Other aspects of conventional thinking are examined, including the nature of human knowledge together with certain strategies and other belief systems used in coping with challenging human realities. Even though not necessarily globalized, these examined ways of thinking might offer some useful ideas in our quest to refresh our planet Earth.
We review the philosophical areas of metaphysics, ontology, and epistemology and find that human knowledge, for various and sundry reasons, is really rather tenuous. It may be that what we effortlessly adopt as truth may simply be concocted belief systems manufactured for the needs of the moment in dealing with whatever particular reality is facing us. Full knowledge of any possible absolute reality may be ultimately unattainable via native human intelligence.
In the analysis of six mental strategies that we use to manage our realities, we find that four of them had one clumping commonality, while the other two strategies had disparate clumping commonalities. One of the more intriguing of the six mental strategies stood distinctly apart from the other five mental strategies in terms of its lack of reliance on the dynamic activity of human consciousness. It happens to be that which links us to our transcendent abilities.
The Bubbles of Consciousness series will complete with a 5th book tentatively entitled Wellsprings of Consciousness. In this book we will propose solutions to today’s gripping problems.
We are "bubbles of consciousness" floating together thru the challenges of today and into the promises of tomorrow. Together ~ we can bring about our wonderful, new world!
